Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 0 review UPDATED
It seems that Samsung have taken it upon themselves on literally making a tablet for everyone. With all of the Galaxy Tab variants out there, the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 it seems like systematic attempt by Samsung to put a unique tablet variant in the hands of every living person on the planet.
After just 6 months since the release of the original Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, the Tab 2 7.0 has hardware which is, frankly, not much of an upgrade in most cases. It features the same 7 inch (obviously) PLS LCD display, and the connectivity features are identical as well. The processor has been downgraded from a dual-core 1.2GHz to a dual-core 1GHz silicon.
From software standpoint we have a different story, as the Tab 2 runs an improved Android build compared to its predecessor. The Android ICS build 4.0.3 on the Tab 2 is much more responsive than Honeycomb and actually makes for a user-friendly experience. And of course, the Tab 2 7.0 is more affordable than the Tab 7.0 Plus as well.

Nokia E6 Nokia X7 With Symbian Anna OS SmartPhone Launched
Nokias latest batch of handsets--the N8, E7, C7 and C6-01--will get the Anna Symbian software update over the coming months, while the Nokia E6 and the X7, two newly announced smartphones aimed at business people and entertainment enthusiasts, respectively, will ship with it preloaded. The two devices also come with new icons and usability enhancements such as improved text input, a faster browser and refreshed Ovi Maps.
"We are further strengthening Nokias smartphone portfolio with these two new devices, both of which offer a more beautiful and intuitive user experience that will soon also be available for the Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia C7 and Nokia C6-01," said Jo Harlow, head-smart devices business, Nokia. "With these new products and more Symbian devices and user enhancements coming in the near future, we are confident we can keep existing Nokia smartphone customers engaged, as well as attract new first-time and competitor smartphone users."
Following on from Nokia E71 and E72 devices, the Nokia E6 is a sleek business smartphone with a full QWERTY keypad and a high-resolution touch display. According t0 Nokia, the phone offers exceptional battery life and the best out-of-the-box Microsoft messaging experience on a business smartphone, including access to Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Communicator Mobile and Microsoft SharePoint.
The Nokia X7 is an entertainment-focused smartphone with a 10.2-cm (4") display ideal for gaming, and an 8-megapixel camera for capturing pictures and HD-quality video. It comes pre-loaded with the Galaxy on Fire and Asphalt 5 HD games.
The Nokia E6 and X7 are also the first smartphones to contain the complete update of the Symbian software user experience. This update offers a host of usability enhancements, including fresh, new icons, improved text input, a faster internet browsing experience and a refreshed Ovi Maps application with improved search and new public transport routes. The renewed software also offers new features aimed at business users in particular, including enterprise grade security with hardware accelerated encryption, and new e-mail features such as full meeting request support.
In coming months, the software update will also be available as standard on newly shipping Nokia N8, E7, C7 and C6-01 devices, as well as available to download on previously purchased models of those same smartphones.

This Panasonic 3D TV is a fully featured three-dimension machine. It has all the basic hookup capabilities, including one composite and one component video input, as well as digital and analog audio inputs and outputs. These are clearly labeled on the back of the television. You can connect your 3D TV to your personal computer and your local area network. The TV also has three USB ports and four HDMI inputs for your DVD player, your 3D Blu-ray player and all your gaming systems. You dont have to worry about unplugging your Xbox to hook up your Blu-ray player; there is plenty of room for all your connection needs. Those basics are to be expected. More importantly and excitingly, this television is capable of converting two-dimensional images into immersive, three-dimensional environments. This is made possible by technology unique to Panasonics line of Viera HDTVs that produces detailed, 3D depth for 2D images. With this conversion feature, you can watch DVDs, Blu-rays and ordinary television broadcasts in three clear dimensions. However, when you use your TV to convert 2D images into 3D, the 3D effect is marginally less pronounced than when you enjoy material from 3D sources on your TV. This 3D TV also has a game mode for decreased lag and increased clarity, and intuitive settings to provide the best images possible, even in dark scenes. As one of the only plasma HDTVs on our lineup, this Panasonic 3D TV has an incredibly high refresh rate of 600Hz. The television uses its 600Hz subfield drive to cultivate the best possible picture in either 2D or 3D mode. Most LED TVs have a refresh rate of up to 480Hz, tops. Like all plasma TVs, this one displays images using electrically charged ionized gases instead of light-emitting diodes. Plasma TVs are thin and can create rich colors and deep blacks. This 3D TV and all Panasonic HDTVs also use fast-switching phosphors that reduce afterglow and create clear images.
We reviewed the 55-inch Panasonic, but the Viera VT line also has a 65-inch model for consumers who are especially ambitious about their home theaters. It has excellent resolution, 1920 x 1080. The TVs default aspect ratio is the standard HDTV wide-screen 16:9. However, you also have aspect control so you can zoom in for traditional 4:3 broadcasts. The aspect ratio is the measurement of the TVs width compared to its height.
This 55-inch Panasonic has a contrast ratio of 2 million pixels to one, and a viewing angle of 178 degrees. The contrast ratio indicates the contrast of the brightest white the TV can produce to the darkest black. The scale of this measurement is not universal; it varies with each manufacturer. The viewing angle refers to the maximum angle at which you can effectively view 3D and HD images. The three-dimensional effect is greater on the Panasonic 3D TV the further you are from the television. As you increase this distance, the images seem to have greater depth and the 3D seems more realistic.
