HOW TO RESET NOKIA N8
If you face some difficulty with your NOKIA N8 such it is very slow or it is hanging and NOKIA N8

NOKIA N8 FACTORY RESETTING:
Soft resetting Nokia N8 :
Soft resetting can restore Nokia N8 user setting and soft reset will not erase any data like image,sound,video.
Press *#7780# on the screen and after few seconds soft reset will start.
Hard resetting Nokia N8 :
This option restores the original operating system from the rom. Formats the c: partition and deletes all data like picture,sound,video including any installed application.
Press *#7370# on the screen and after few seconds you may put the security code and resetting process will begin.
Reset Nokia N8 by Menu:
If the device needs to be reset, try the following methods first.
1. Press down the power button for 8 seconds.
2. Restore the factory settings by selecting Menu > Settings > Phone > Phone management > Factory settings > Restore.
The "three finger" reset should be used only if other process of resetting failed to reset.
THREE FINGER RESET (pressing volume down + camera key + menu key and pressing power button) to hard reset the Nokia N8-00 device. Doing this will delete some useful applications ( Such Ovi Store, Ovi Maps, some preinstalled widgets) which cannot be restored.
Important:
* Please do not reset your NOKIA N8 without any unrecoverable difficulty.
** Hard reset will erase all user data from your NOKIA N8.
So keep in mind to back up your important data before hard reset.
